Yeah, here's the transcript from "Consequences", with Willow speaking up
on Faith, and acknowledging that some of this is because of her being
upset that Buffy seemed to drop her for Faith, and her difficulty
dealing with the X/F sex.  Faith has tried to frame Buffy and tried to
rape and kill Xander before this.

WILLOW:  Can I... I-I'm just wondering. Why? (gets a look from Buffy)
I'm not the most objective, I know. I kind of have an issue with Faith
sharing my people. (looks at Xander, who closes his eyes) But she
murdered someone and accused Buffy. Then she hurt Xander. I hate to say
it, but maybe she belongs behind bars.

(Also note that, per Giles's previous remarks to Buffy, "behind bars"
may be too strong a term
for the discipline the Council would give Faith.  It certainly didn't
sound like jail, although Giles may have been soft-peddling, and Willow
wasn't there for that conversation.)

After having been very supportive of Faith the entire year, Willow
reluctantly speaks up for the idea that Faith should be punished for her
crimes, and admits that she has some personal baggage, due to recent
events.  That's a far cry, IMO, from Willow wanting to control Buffy and
being venomous to Faith because she didn't want Buffy to have any other
friends.  

BTW, has anyone ever written a "W/F get it on in the showers after
'Beauty and the Beasts' " fic?  'Cause that seems like a natural:
they're both sweaty and bruised, the school is deserted, Buffy's off
with Angel, Faith most likely has the post-fight hornys and Will's
depressed about Oz's most recent attempt to kill her.  Plus they're
grateful to each other for saving their respective lives.

If it hasn't been done before, I throw it out there as a challenge.

who does think it's quite possible Will had a bit of a crush on Faith at
the start, sublimating her desire for "Straight and Mourning Angel"
Buffy with an interest in the new, exciting, unattached, sexually open
Slayer in town.  Just maybe.
