hehe, never said anything about rejecting the story. about the only
things that makes me stop reading and hit the 'back' button is
horrible charactization (and do I mean horrible) or grammar/spelling
that's not of this world (ie jibberish). I'll keep reading if there
are 'Wills', but the mood is lost for a moment.Hey, that brings up something that makes me stop reading fanfiction - even some good stuff. I hate it when my browser turns speechmarks into some other symbols - or when a web page does that with their formatting.
I've tried to read on but my brain just screams noooo at me and it's really sad 'cause sometimes I really want to keep reading the story in question.
Anyone know how to get around this? Is there some setting on IE I can change to get around that? I've look at the webpage source and more often than not the speech marks are intact there so how's the problem caused?
Here's hoping someone knows!
