I loved this Chapter. I loved the contrast between Buffy and Dawn, the way they view things. To Dawn, what seemed like a formidable vampire, was no big deal to Buffy. And Buffy analyzing a situation, so she knows how to respond, and trying to impart wisdom that may keep Dawn alive that much longer while making the decision to not get close because of the life span of a Slayer is a great characterization of Buffy later in life. Story is shaping up to be a good one. Looking forward to the next chapter and finding out who the blonde in the bed was.
