Oh, I was poking around in the archives the other day, and I remembered
seeing a Fic by Chris Burrows called "She Didn't Have To Go Back".
IIRC, that was a souled-VW story, although I don't know if it was ever
finished or if it was just W/VW without the threesome element.  Summer
2002, I think.

And of course, there's no reason somebody else can't take up your
challenge:  this is the 'shipdom that's given us about a dozen
CaveBuffy/Willow fics, after all.
