Well, if the same amount of time has passed back home as it has 
here, Buffy's people would know she's missing, and be looking for 
her.  And, given that she's bounced into other planes a couple of 
times before, they'd consider that as a possibility.  Willow would, 
right now, be trying to track where Buffy's energy went.  Could get 
awkward  :)

But, should she make it back home on her own, they'd want to know 
where she was.
