FIC: "Just Friends" 3/? B/W

The next morning, they saw each other during breakfast, Dawn was here too. They weren?t feeling bad at ease, a bit awkward but comfortable with each other so they just kept on talking and smiling at each other.

A while later Buffy went downstairs in the basement to look for a sports? bag, she came across Willow:

?Oh hey Will er-?

?Hey, what are you doing here??

?Need the bag for Dawn, bringing her to the mall then she?s going to that anniversary at Melissa?s?

?Oh yeah I forgot?

Buffy looked around, the lights were off, she frowned:

?What about you? And why didn?t you turn on-?

She stopped as she switched on the light but nothing happened. Willow raised her brows:

?Yep, I wanted to do a load of washing but right now I was searching for a new bulb cause I can?t find the detergent?

It wasn?t totally dark thanks to the window so they both started searching. Buffy went closer to the washing machine and bent to search on the side, in between the machine and the wall. Willow was close behind her:

?I?ve searched here already, put it back there the other day but it?s been displaced since?

?Ok? Buffy said, she got up very fast and Willow didn?t have the time to move so they slightly bumped into each other and Buffy gripped Willow?s waist to keep her on her feet. They found themselves standing straight, body pressed against each other as Willow?s hands were on Buffy?s chest and shoulder as she gripped her and Buffy?s hands were still on the redhead?s waist. They couldn?t help it and immediately started to kiss. Willow?s hands immediately moved to Buffy?s breasts. The blonde slayer moaned and slightly turned them both around then moved forward just a step in order to have Willow pinned against the machine. In one easy movement Buffy lifted her and had her sit on the machine, with the slayer in between her legs. Willow wrapped her legs around the blonde girl?s thighs and pressed herself hard on her and Buffy was doing the same. She was slightly bending forward, increasing the pressure of her pelvis on Willow?s crotch. Willow was moaning, she moved her hand to Buffy?s pants and undid the first button when the door opened:

?Buffy you here??

Both girls immediately pulled apart, Buffy zipping back her pants very fast:

?Err yes Dawnie, I?m here, err, searching for a bulb because it?s it?s, err, broken, what?s wrong sweetheart??

?Well, nothing, I was just waiting, unless you forgot the mall over the last five minutes?? Dawn replied sarcastically then she added:

?Where are you anyway?? she started going down by the stairs but Buffy moved to the other side, very fast grabbing the sports? bag she?d first came to take and moving to the stairs:

?Here I got it, we can go now? and she made her sister moved upstairs again and followed her. Willow was taking her breath back downstairs and trying hard to understand what was happening between her and her best friend.

After dropping Dawn at the mall Buffy went to the park and walked around in town very thoughtful all day before going back home. Willow was the same during her classes at College. Buffy went to take her sister at the party at the end of the afternoon so she wasn?t there when Willow came back. When the two sisters arrived Willow was going downstairs. Buffy waved at her and they gave each other a knowing gaze before Dawn and the slayer went upstairs to drop their things. Dawn went to her sisters? room:

?Can we eat pizzas??

Buffy frowned:

?Like you didn?t eat enough at Melissa?s today??

?No I swear it was healthy? bakery? and stuff?

Buffy smiled:

?We have salad and chicken, that?d be better?

?But there?s a pizza in-?

?No Dawn. Anyway we?re three, not enough pizza for all of us?

?You take the chicken and I-? Dawn stopped at Buffy?s scolding gaze

?Ok, chicken then? Dawn left at the moment when Willow arrived, the redhead slightly closed the door and the two friends stared at each other then Willow started, trying to sound nice:

?So? How was your day??

?Oh, it was? a day, like err, another?

?Yeah, me too, I mean, good day, classes and stuff you know?

Suddenly Buffy pinned Willow against the wall and they began kissing urgently, Buffy very fast pressing her thigh on Willow?s crotch and the redhead?s hands were already tearing Buffy?s shirt while the blonde slayer was kissing and sucking savagely on Willow?s neck. Willow moved her hand further down and undid Buffy?s pants like in the basement that morning, she slightly slid her hand but then they heard Dawn coming back, they pulled apart:

?I found another pizza, can we now??

Dawn looked perplexed at the two friends? stunned _expression_:

?Something wrong??

Buffy was still slightly rearranging her shirt, Dawn frowned and Buffy said:

?Actually I was gonna change, I-I haven?t been patrolling a lot these days, I should go tonight. You girls don?t wait for me. Will please, make sure she doesn?t eat pizzas ok??

Buffy was slightly avoiding Willow and the witch slightly looked aside:

?Ok, I will?

Buffy left, in a hurry to Dawn?s opinion but the young Summers was used to her sister?s strange behavior so she just went back downstairs. Willow came in the kitchen a few minutes after and found Dawn preparing the chicken. Dawn frowned as Willow was all dressed up. The witch said:

?I?m sorry Dawn, I forgot I had work to do at the library, I can?t stay with you, oh good, preparing the chicken, that?s great. Do your homework then, I?ll help you tomorrow if there?s something you don?t understand, I?m sorry I can?t stay, ?night Dawn?

Dawn was stunned. Willow left in a hurry just like Buffy did. It didn?t escape Dawn?s gaze that both girls had redden cheeks, Willow still had them when she left but Dawn shook her head out of these thoughts, she looked at the chicken in front of her and smiled. She took it and put it back into the fridge:

?Pizza!? and she turned on the radio starting to dance while preparing her food.

Buffy was wandering in the cemetery, really thoughtful about everything. Her life, Angel, Faith, Spike and all the thing that went wrong, everything she did wrong, everything that happened and now? Willow.

In the meantime in the library, Willow was completely oblivious of her work. Thoughtful on her books, memories of Tara were replacing her actual confusion with the slayer and what was happening. She was missing Tara, what was it with Buffy? Comfort? Filling the loneliness? Tara?

Buffy opened their house?s door brutally:

?Dawn! Dawn!?

?It?s ok Buffy, she?s ok, she?s upstairs, she?s resting? Willow told her.

Buffy climbed the stairs and opened the door to check on Dawn then closed it sighing a bit, they looked at each other with a nod of the head and went to Willow?s room as to not wake Dawn up. Buffy looked hesitant and Willow sat on the bed, guessing Buffy wanted to talk seriously. Willow couldn?t help thinking of her talk with Cassie, well, the thing that pretended to be her; she was in deep thoughts of Tara.

?Willow I-? Buffy trailed off, Willow was still silent. The slayer knelt in front of the witch taking her hands:

?I want you to know that I?ll always be here for you, now that we found each other back I?ll never let you down again but-?

She looked aside and Willow understood, she looked aside too and Buffy took her chin in between her hands making her look at her:

?Will I feel it?s gonna be big and you and me it?s- You agree that it?s quite confusing and the thing is, I will have to focus and keep my ideas clear for now, it?s really gonna be huge I know that?

Willow had still not said a word, Buffy went on:

?I don?t want you or anyone to get hurt because I wouldn?t be a hundred percent slayer mode you know but I- Willow I really do care for you and I?m not taking back anything, it?s been? I don?t really know what we have or IF we really have something but whatever option I think, I?d rather consider it at a later time?

She caressed Willow?s cheek tenderly as the witch had still not said a word. Willow closed her eyes, inhaling deeply, impregnating herself by the emotions she?d felt thinking she was talking to Tara, she took a deep breath:

?You?re right, it?s probably better that way?

Buffy moved closer and placed a soft kiss on Willow?s lips before getting up and telling her everything she?d learnt tonight and her visit at Xander?s apartment and the doubts on Spike, she was talking very slayer-speech-like but Willow understood. She told her in her turn what happened and what Dawn told her too.

A few more days passed by, Buffy?s suspicions on something big, and her doubts on Spike were proved right so they were all trying to figure out what was happening then they were attacked by the bringers and Spike kidnapped. Buffy was trying everything she could to bring him back while Giles was bringing potential slayers to the house. Willow, Anya and Xander were taking care of them as Buffy was very focused on Spike. Willow, despite her knowing that the situation was very grave couldn?t help missing Buffy?s presence and being worried, mostly after the trashing she took with the Turok-Han and also, Willow couldn?t help being inwardly reluctant at Buffy?s interest to bring the blonde vampire back but the witch kept on doing her best with what she had, that is; researches and potentials.
