A very nice start. Put me on the "more please" list :-).

However... your transition to that flashback confused me.
(I'm assuming it was meant to be a flashback... though Willow
shouldn't be aware of Buffy's feelings if it was. It seemed to
be more of a flashback Buffy would have.)

You need some kind of separation between the two to indicate
where it was coming from.

If I hadn't recognized that scene I wouldn't have known it
wasn't part of the same scene.

And the Dawn pairing sounds 'cute' :-). (And ... I'm assuming
'UL' stands for whatever University Dawn is attending but you
might want to spell it out somewhere for those of us not aware
of such things.) Looking forward to more of that part of the
story also.
