Fic Question

Actually, I'm not even sure if this has been written, or if it was just
an idea I heard being tossed around once, but&

&in "Witch", when Xander panicks and asks Willow to ask Buffy out on
his behalf, he **doesn't** take it back, and Willow reluctantly agrees.
Buffy misunderstands, doesn't realize Willow's speaking for Xander,
thinks Willow's asking her out, lead to (I suppose), confusion,
realization, angst and smoochies.

Does this ring a bell for anyone?
