Ok I don't remember if very one decided that these kind of posts were to off-topic or not. If I am cluttering up someone's mailbox I am sorry. This is big news to me because lots of people knew about it but for her to actually admit it?!

Wow. Just Wow! Now we have another reason to support the WNBA besides the fact that they play better and more fundamentally sound basketball than the NBA.

Van Gorp Goes Public 6/27/2004

It was never really a secret that former Blue Devil Michelle Van Gorp was gay, but it was never publicly discussed, either. Now, Van Gorp has become one of a very few number of active pro athletes to confirm her homosexuality.

In an interview with a magazine and the Pioneer Press, Van Gorp discusses her sexuality and says "It's not anything I ever hid. I'm not coming out; I've been out for a long time."
