Miss Kitty Fantastico

Please settle an argument for me and my sister.  We
were watching 'Reckless' the other day and were to the
part where they show Miss Kitty Fantastico in slow
motion.  My sister mentioned that they just kinda of
forgot about the cat after Willow and Tara moved into
the house.  I argued that in one of Dawn's scenes with
Xander (can't remember the ep) that they were talking
about not leaving crossbows lying around anymore 'not
after that incident with Miss Kitty Fantastico ' which
lead me to believe that Dawn accidently killed Miss
Kitty Fanstatico.  

Am I right or am I insane???
