You're right.  (Which doesn't mean you can't also be insane, of course
<g>).

You're thinking of "End of Days", ep 7.21.  Dawn, crossbows, possible
Kitty-slaying, all there.

(OT mini-rant:  I hated that the Xander scenes in that ep were such a
waste of time, three whole scenes [the first of which dragged like an
anchor] to cover what could have been handled in a 5 second exchange
between Buffy and Dawn:

BUFFY:  Dawn, go with Xander.  I want you to be safe.
DAWN:  No, I want to stay.

Nothing's accomplished.  Buffy tries to get Dawn to leave, but she stays
for the finale, big whoop, right back where we started.  Meanwhile, Joss
excuses minor details like not showing any reconciliation between Buffy
and Willow (or any between Buffy and Giles, or not explaining Caleb's
powers or why he blinded Xander or what the First's plan was) by
claiming the last three eps were just so "jam-packed" he couldn't fit
everything in.  

As usual, IMO, grrrr.)
