FIC: Blood pt.2

She plunged the stake into the vamp's chest with a satisfied smirk on her f=

ace. Sure, technically she was one of the bad guys now, but she still got a =

thrill out of killing the local nightlife.

Working for the mayor definitely had its advantages. Case in point: the fla=

shy new apartment she now lived in. Deciding to give up the slayage for the =

night, Faith turned and started heading towards the Bronze. Like always, her=

nights activities had left her with two particular itches to scratch, and t=

he Bronze was a good place to scratch them.

As she was leaving the cemetery she heard very methodical footsteps approac=

hing and was soon surprised to see little Willow Rosenberg storm past. Well,=

'storm' wasn't the right word, but damn if it wasn't far off. Willow's walk=

had definite purpose, and on her face was a look of pure determination. Thi=

s was a person who had places to be and things to do.

Must be important if she's out at night without her favourite chaperone. Fa=

ith thought, picturing Buffy with a distinct feeling of disgust. Or any weap=

ons. On a whim she followed the redhead for a few blocks, each step making i=

t more apparent where they were headed. Buffy's house.

Suddenly, and before Faith could even realise that she didn't care, a vampi=

re appeared from the shadows and grabbed Willow, placing a hand over her mou=

th. Without giving her a moments pause the vamp sunk its teeth into her neck=

and started to feed. As Willow's whimpers of pain and fear began to grow we=

aker Faith smiled wickedly to herself as a plan formed in her mind. Perfect.=



"Hey!" She shouted, getting the vampires attention. "That's one meal you do=

n't wanna finish!" Gesturing with her head towards the near dead girl she sp=

oke again "You wanna make it last as long as possible&if you get me."

The vampire licked her lips, showing bloodied teeth as she stared at the ro=

gue slayer, recognising her quickly. "What do you mean?"

"I mean I want you to giver her your wrist." Faith responded as she quickly=

drew a simple knife from her boot and threw it towards the puzzled vampire.=

"Now."

Swimming in and out of consciousness, Willow tried to piece her situation t=

ogether. Her thoughts were interrupted as she felt something warm and wet ag=

ainst her lips, then pouring into her mouth. Instinctively she swallowed, be=

fore she realised what it was. Internally, she panicked as the previous minu=

tes event came back to her.

Hearing the voice from what she thought was soon to be a corpse, Faith shar=

ply turned towards the sound to see Willow struggling against the vampire. S=

he shouldn't even be able to move, let alone talk.

"NO!" There was a flash. Faith felt something shove her hard, then the next=

thing she felt was her back connecting with something hard, winding her. Wh=

en she recovered suitably to sit up she noticed two things. She was a good t=

hirty feet from where she had been, and both the vampire and the girl were g=

one. She walked to where she had last seen them and found the remains of the=

vampire blowing in a vaguely circular fashion. She also found a trail of bl=

oody footprints apparently stumbling away.

"What the hell?"
