Interesting idea, Howard.

Personally, I decided that since I wasn't going to be able to see how
the fic/the formatting/the HTML looked to anyone but me (because of
different browsers/email programs/etc), I just sent a version to myself
before posting it.  (This also helped me catch typos and stuffone
time I sent myself about seven different copies before I decided it was
suitable for posting.) 

But I can see that some people might have situations where it's Yahoo
specifically that's incompatible with their posts and not anything they
did, so your group might solve those problems.
