RE: fic To those who wait; (HEAVY NC17!) Willow+co rescue Buffy from suicide

I couldn’t figure out what you were referencing until I went to the list on-line. I long ago put in a filter that auto-deletes any email coming from goolecaptain. This situation both reminds me why, and reassures me that I made the right decision in doing so.

Though I hate to find myself in agreement with you, ;) I must concur that this type of fic in no way belongs on this list.

Hopefully it was a mistake, and thus won’t ever be repeated.

Y'know, I can't help but swinging back my mind to that bygone age when Kimber
posted those links to Pat Kelly's B/D fic and the list nearly imploded.

Something about improper headings or something.

Now I'm not throwing my hat in on either side of that long dead issue
(Requisat In Infernis) but rather on the apprant lack of feedback, real
feedback, lately.

I've noticed that fics that were pretty good in the sense that they had
passable plot, fanservice up the wingwang, lots of sex or implied sex, the
emotional depth of a teaspoon and easy conclusions. Alright, maybe 'pretty
good' is a bit generous. Either way these fics get the lions share while other
works, really EXCELLENT fics get passed by.

And even that lions share is not what it used to be yet membership in the BWW
is quite high and remains that way. So. Where's the feedback?

That's how I do give my feedback: Direct to the author. I feel no desire to
crow aloud my praise and in all honestly, since I rarely, if ever, give blind,
all around, praise but also levy in some critiques as well, posting them
publicy would be against the BWW's 'No Negative Feedback' rule. (Cremare In
Infernis)

Or.

Everybody could be waiting for someone else to do it.

And not only has this lassitude pervaded the group entire but seemingly the
mods. For twelve hours this post has story has been here and not one little
friendly warning, or suggestion, or even out and out admonishment.

Headings be damned, legalities be damned (sex between female relatives not
being incest, spare me), this story goes quite clearly against standing laws
in the BWW and nobody did a ding-dang-blasted thing.

Personally I don't give a damn what's posted here; I thought the story would
result in some furor, a bit of activity so on and so forth. I imgaine
Googleking acted before thinking but meant no harm; I also think consitancy is
a good idea.

So.

Be consistant.

In a proactive manner.

Don't respond to this.

You're all probably to busy anyhow.
