OT re: incest laws

Yeah, the fact that the California subsection was entitled "Bigamy,
Incest, and the Crime against Nature" seemed to indicate that they
considered incest and homosexuality two separate crimes, and didn't
conceive of the two intersecting.  IIRC, the since-voided anti-incest
section referred only to m/f incest.

Not that there might not have been some prosecutions of f/f or m/m
incest, but it all ended up mootville when the State decided to simply
subsume the "Hey, keep your hands off your daughter, sicko!" laws under
the more general "Hey, keep your hands off the little girls, sicko!"
statutes.  (Possibly because, with the escalating divorce rate, the
increase in cases of step-parental abuse made the incest laws seem an
insufficient deterrent?  I dunno, I'm just speculating.)
