Yes, that's meant to be a hint.  But there's something even more
specically linked to politics, earlier in the header.

That scene in "Halloween" is one of my favorites;  the two of them
sharing their hopes and dreams for the future, and Buffy coming out of
her princess fantasies to admire the girl right next to her.
