No. There's still a lot being written. Of course, a large
percentage of that is on ff.net. And a good chunk of that
consists of horrifyingly bad "Spuffy" fics. But then the Kennedy
fanfic archive is 95% bad fic also...

You can't expect the high volume of writing to continue with the
show just on DVD and reruns (in the US anyway). The fact that
there was ever that kind of volume for a cult show is amazing.

Hmmm... was it ever that large of a genre? SaphicSlayer does
seem to have gone into hibernation along with a few other sites.


MysticMuse is at the mercy of the life of its archivist which
means often a month or two before a fic submitted bu someone
shows up there. But at least it has a very good chance of being
a 'good read'. 

The archive for this list (Ikoly) - while it takes a month (or
more)  for things to cycle off the latest page - is still
around.

Sure, NearHerAlways (A Willow archive) seems to be drowning in
Willow/Spike and WIllow/Angel but it at least is still there and
other pairings show up occasionally.

One name for that is "Uber" fiction. There is a Willow/Tara site
that is reasonably active:

"Through the Looking Glass"

It's the only one I've personally seen like that for any Buffy
characters. But they're a canon pairing. (The occasional
Buffy/Faith pairing shows up in the W/T fics there but the focus
IS W/T)
