Yeah, I hate that.  Getting rid of Buffy in a very out of character
way.  Great way to start a series (heavy sarcasm).

I wasn't being sarcastic "Watcher's" the virtual series actually works in that it's more a "Spin off" than trying to continue 
"The Buffy Story". It's the story of how Willow and Giles and whole lot of new characters go about finding, training all the new Slayers.
 

Willow: "It's a good fight, Buffy, and I want in."
Buffy:  "I kinda love you."
