OT; did a momentous thing today...

I preordered season 5 of Angel. and I thought, wow, barring TV movies 
this will be the last I ever buy. what's more that set will 
include 'Destiny', the one ep of Angel I've never seen. and that'll 
be it. 
I consider myself a 'plankowner' I actually went to see the original 
film in the cinema and I've even seen the untransmitted pilot. I 
think people should realise the enormous success SMG has had with The 
Grudge, it made $109million (and still counting..) at the US box 
office alone and cost only a quarter of that to make. what's more it 
was definitely a star vehicle for SMG, it was her name alone above 
the credits. this will probably make her one of the 10 most powerful 
women in Hollywood, even before it she was getting $5million for 
Scooby-Do 2 (it also made her come out of her shell and finally do a 
convention and loads of publicity for which we should all be 
grateful).
I read her article in Esquire (god she's gorgeous in her pictures, 
especially as the nurse and tennis player, a good example of a woman 
being sexier with her clothes on). she says she regards Buffy as one 
of the greatest shows ever and she's very proud of it. but she spoke 
of it in the past tense. I don't think she'll ever come back to the 
role 
but still if this is it we should all be thankful. for we've had 254 
eps and one movie of one of the greatest fantasy series of all time. 
to  put that into perspective it's the equivalent of 80 Bond movies.
so let's go to work.
