The article I read on msnbc.com on 3/21 states he was chosen because he has a history of creating strong female charaters gave example that he wrote the screen play for sigourney weavers Alien & of course Buffy. I for one am disappointed that he has been chosen to bring the most popular female super hero in comics to the big screen. What he did with the final seasons on Buffy was border line masochist. Angel wasnt much better no Cordelia in the end & Fred turned into a monster. Where were the strong female leads? He'll probably have James Marsters playing the military guy and tying up WW with her golden lasso while they have kinky sex. Anybody else have an opinion?
