Sounds like a good idea to me... Of course, there are some fics where I 
would take ANY feedback, mean or not.

I think I got a single comment here when I posted the prologue for a 
new fic back in January. Not exactly encouraging. (Compare that to the 
30+ reviews I've gotten so far for a BtVS/James Bond crossover I've 
posted elsewhere... (No B/W content so that won't end up here). I'm 
almost wondering if I even want to post the next part here. I could 
just e-mail it to the couple interested parties.)

I understand some of the rant... but I don't think you can force 
"growth" in a community like this one. Not everyone feels inspired to 
write or create something centered around something they enjoy. And not 
every fic connects with everyone.
