Hello Everybody,

Personally I'm excited by the fact that it will be a long term project.  Hopefully, we will do this for the next 144 weeks, which will give us damn near three years of something to talk about.

Personally, I prefer to watch DVDs with someone.  Yeah, I have all seven seasons but I've only watched them once (Season seven, not even the once).  I've watched a few specific episodes more often for fic research purposes, but that's out of order.  This way I can watch the series again with someone else, if only virtually.  But the reason I want to watch with someone is because I usually want to talk about it.  This way I can, and so can you.

And yes, we all have our loved/hated episodes and seasons.  Jin may detest the earlier episodes while I loathe seasons six and seven.  But I love the show overall.  I'll stick with this and that'll give me a reason to watch even those episodes (seasons) I dislike.  I hope Jin and everybody else does too.  We may find something to like, despite ourselves.

Who knows what our discussions will reveal?  I hope for everyone to discuss both their likes and dislikes.  Even if you hate the episode, try to find something to like in it--don't just shred it.  The series is excellent overall.  Even if all you can like is someone's performance, the cinematography of a scene, even a single line, please let us know about it.  I'm hoping to find something to redeem even the later seasons.

Let's face it, we must like the series, or we wouldn't like the characters enough to 'ship them.
