OK.. I was a little bad cause I just started watching the eps a few 
weeks ago (I got the 7 seasons as a christmas present) when my Dish 
network went away w/my ex... lol... 

SOOOO... its fresh in my mind..but not quite as recent as this 
week... make sense?


I cant quite get over how "YOUNG" they all are in this episode.  
Makes Dawn's complaints much more reasonable about the 
protectiveness they smother her with... I know I saw her in a couple 
of scenes... lol.


I agree with whoever posted (mad hamlet?) about Buffy winning the 
wiffy points.  But it was because Willow was just sooooo self-
conscious, shy, introverted, and whatever other adjectives you want 
to put in there.  Willow was just sooo shocked that Buffy would want 
to spend time with her... she was immobilized by it.  

But I *was* very impressed by the brightness of the smiles they had 
for each other... watching their faces light up.. especially 
Willow... :).. made me smile too.  The eye contact that they had 
too... you could feel the connection between them.  

It really looked like Joss was setting up something more than just 
friendship for them.. cause they have soooo much more time together 
alone than Buffy and Xander alone.  I wonder if "sponsors" warned 
off anything brewing... hmmmmmmmm?... interesting very very 
interesting.  

Cordelia was a real bitch.. very in character... ;)..  I *still* 
don't see how she and Xander hooked up.. even if it was physical??? 
GEEEZ... 

Giles... welll was Giles.. but sooo distant.. sooo professional.... 
I didnt like him.  Thot he started out too tuff on Buffy... too 
much "duty," "calling," "chosen one" on her.  That is what made her 
resist in the first place.  Also thot that HE should have known (or 
the council should have) that Sunnyhell was a Hellmouth.  I also 
didnt like his attitude about Xander and Willow finding out about 
Buffy and wanting to help... altho.. it made Buffy more determined 
to keep her new friends around.  

I cant comment on the movie.. as I've never seen it... didnt come 
across Buffy til about 3 years ago when FX started showing it 4 
times a day... lol.. but I got hooked fast!!!!  I still watch it on 
FX most days... ;).

OK.. going back to lurking status... lol.. I havent written anything 
since I wrote a bit of StarWars FF back when I was in jr high.. 
lol.. (NOT gonna tell you how long ago that was!).  I love reading 
the stories here...
