There seems to be a school of thought in fanfic that has Willow as the 
more nurturing or motherly half of the pair while Buffy is more the 
fighter/warrior.  In neanderthal terms, Buffy is cast as the hunter, 
while Willow tends to be the gatherer. 

And I can name at least two stories where Buffy was impregnanted.  She 
carried the baby(and took her away to raise when she and Willow were 
briefly estranged) in Cilia's epic Two Worlds series.  And in Kevin 
Beckett's Militat Omnes Amans, both Buffy and Willow were pregnant 
simultaneously.  The most prominent example of Willow being pregnant of 
course is Shyfox's Sappho's Spell.

Say, has anyone heard from Shyfox lately?
