thought I sent this already, but maybe not.  I think
there are a couple of reasons.  First is buffy is the
slayer, and who needs an additional burden of
pregnancy besides that?  Not to mention it would cut
down on your agility and stuff like that.  Plus,
slayers and having kids don't mix.  Look at prinicpal
wood, he was screwed up by it...not to mention she'd
be hungrier than before after slaying.  Plus, willow
is just more nurturing and stuff, I think.  Those are
my thoughts...
