DT: 30 continues!

I apologise for the unseemly delay.  hopefully, it won't happen again! 
by the way, #31 is coming up and I'm fairly sure ya'll ain't gonna like 
it.  if I can find the time, I send it along today.  if Not, don't look 
for it until tomarrow night.


     " We finally became a couple because, ironically, it was Alex 
whom set us straight about certain things!  I, personally, thought 
Buffy was utterly beautiful, from the first moment we met.  I just 
never gave much thinking to the fact that, maybe one day, we could 
become more than  friends.  She was, so far, beyond my means, I knew 
That from the moment I looked into her gorgeous eyes.  Despite this 
fact, Joyce, there was a part of me that just couldn't let go of my 
unatainable hope.  My beloved Slayer, as I've since been told, kept 
things on a friendly level because she feared for my safety, can you 
believe That?!?"

  Willow paused, for the moment, to gaze at her lover and smiled with 
this aching amount of tenderness at the only girl she'd ever truly love.
For an endless amount of time, Buffy and the Witch hung there, 
connected only to eachother, safe within their love.  Joyce Summers 
found it all too precious but she still wanted to know more of their
story.

           " I've always known that you love my daughtere, Willow and 
I thank you for That.  Buffy Anne Summers,your up at bat."

   The girl with the murky looking eyes shot her Mom a hound dog look,
but, none the less, did  as asked.

         " You could say we realised we where pissing away our mutual 
chance at happiness because That's as close to the truth as things 
get.  On the night we finally brought everything out into the open,
Mom, I was fully aware that my life is nothing without Willow in it.
You should be proud that I had the courage to revel my deepest heart 
and that Will had the guts to accept me for all that I am.  I'm damn
lucky that she could, Mom, because most people can't.  She not only 
makes me happy but, also, a far better person than I have any right
to be.  In short, Willow, you are the reason I am the me of today."

    The Wiccan, Joyce, and even the dark woman whom hadn't meant to
listen, where more than a little awed that Buffy could speak about
her hidden emotions so elequently.  The older blonde was totally 
delighted to hear her daughter speak with such open honesty.

             " I want you to know, Mrs. Summers, that I love Buffy
with all that I am.  She's always been the first thing I think about
in the mornings and my last thought at night.  You are the Best thing
to Ever happen to me, Buffy.   I think you should know, though, that
I still find it hard to believe that it ME that you love."

        " Oh, honey," said the Slayer's Mom," haven't you realised
that my daughter doesn't give her heart very eaisly?  Buffy will,
I'm sure, love you to the best of her abilities, you can take That
to the bank!"

      The blonde Slayer, on the other hand, was completly heartsick
to hear the utter disbelief in her lover's voice.

              " Will, baby, you are the only reason I still yet
exist.  God, don't you know that you are a beautiful, intelligent,
warm, caring, funny, infanetly sexy woman?!?   Every part of me,love,
craves you, only you.  I solemnly promise you, Willow Rosenberg,
that I will love you for all eturnity.  Christ, I don't even want to
imagene a day without you in it!"

  Neither girl, by this time, where aware that Joyce had slowly 
backed out from the livingroom.  The teary eyed blonde paused at
the kitchen's enterence to lock eyes with the wistfully, grinning
dark woman whom was reclyining at the table.

          " You where right, Alexandra, they are beautiful to 
witness together."

     " I know," said the Southerner, " believe me, Joyce, I know."

   The Slayer's Mom smiled at the dark woman.  A part of her,
however, couldn't help but wonder why it was that a stranger, of
all people, was the one whom did the impossible when no one in
Sunnydale could seem to do the trick?

             " I think it's time for me to be heading back home."

    Joyce was surprised to see Alex shaking her head.

          " You don't have to rush off, ya know?  Supper's ready, 
by the way.  Take a seat, Joyce and share yet another cup of coffee
with me.  Maybe then you'll allow me to pick your brain 'cause
I really want to know how you where able to raise such  a great
kid alone."

    Joyce Summers then had an internal debate with her self, about
where she should stay or go.  In the end, her curiousity about
the dark Southerner won out.

               " You've got yourself a deal, Alexandra Roberts,so
long as I get the chance to know even more about you."

     Alex, whom had been pouring the afore mention hot, liquid,
could only smother back her laughter.  As she stared at the 
waiting blonde, devilishly wicked, lights where flashing out from
within her own darkening gaze.  When she spoke, it was with the
ironic bent Willow had mentioned before now.

            " How the Hell was I to know I'ed have to rename myself
an open book by the time I set foot in California?!?!?!?"
