There's not a real Sunnydale, though it seems modelled on Santa
Barbara, California.  It's location seems to be just a short drive
from LA, hence the TV broadcasts always being from there (including
using the actual weatherman from LA's WB affiliate in the Christmas
episode).  There IS actually a SunnyVale in Cali.
