Re: Where is Sunnydale

This comes up occasionally. I've instigated a few in the past
month myself (I started building a list of buildings/scenery in
Sunnydale a couple weeks ago for background for a fic.)

Although, with 32,900 people in Season 7, Sunnydale had 1/3 of
the population of Santa Barbara, the general consensus in all of
the discussions I've seen over the years is that Sunnydale is
where Santa Barbara would be. Sure, there are contradictory
facts but that's the best fit. 

And not just because the few maps that have appeared on screen
(aka canon) have apparently been of Santa Barbara. And a few
location shots :-).
