Just thought I'd update. It
looks like this storm is gonna come walking right up the street by my
house. They are saying it's gonna be worse than Camille was in 1969, and
she has pretty much defined Badass Storm for the last 36 yrs. Dennis is
being described as "the worst storm since the 1909 hurricane." Max
sustained winds are currently between 145-150 mph depending on your
source. Storm surge is predicted to be 10 feet.
They're showing Pensacola Beach on
the news. The water looks like chocolate milk.
I'm sitting at my computer,
watching out the window as the rain gets heavier and the wind picks
up.
Gonna come a blow.
