OT: Observation

I'm playing around with some of Tony's older stories and I noticed
some very scary things.

In Tony's story "Terra Australis Incognita", Giles gives his St.
Crispens Day speech on the eve of the final battle. A couple of months
later, guess who Joss is having give the same speech on the eve of the
final battle of season 5?

In "Trinity's Child" Tony had the Watchers Council building blown up
and he had people murdering potentials and their Watchers more than 2
years before Joss did. He also had Buffy become cold and distant,
completely focused on training (sound familiar?)

"Trinity's Child" also had Spike sacrifice himself to save the world
for the love of a Summers girl (OK, so in this case it was Buffy's
daughter rather than Buffy herself, but still...)

And in "Destiny's End" he had in his notes (dated back in mid 2001)
that Sunnydale scored a direct hit by a comet chunk, turning the town
into a huge crater which sealed the Hellmouth before the ocean filled
it in creating the Bay of Sunnydale.

I'm beginning to suspect that Tony had a hand in shaping the
crap-tacular Season 7.
