While I don't think that is the best solution it's probably better than using the fold-out type of case that they used for each individual season.  I mean my alien quadrilogy set needs a very large table to completely unfold.  I can't imagine what the complete run of Buffy would be like. 

 

My preferred method, of thin individual cases for each disk arranged in a box like with the Firefly set, would have it's own problems.  With thirty-nine disks plus the bonus disk it would be absolutely 'massive'. 

 

I think they simply settled on the least unwieldy solution.  Yes, you have to take some other seasons out to access whichever one you want, but at least it doesn't take up an inordainate amount of space on your shelf.  Or in the store either, come to think of it, which would cause the stores to want to charge more for it.

 

Since, for some odd reason, I never bought seasons five, six or seven on DVD this will be a must purchase for me.  It'll hardly cost much more than I would have had to have paid for those three seasons.

The sad thing is, I'll probably still buy it anyway.  There's a new bonus
disk and my best friend wants the DVDs for himself so I'll just give him
