  Buffy had just stopped the Harvest. She was walking Xander and I
home. After dropping off Xander, I noticed that she seemed a little
distracted. "Buffy, are you okay?" I asked. "Yeah, but I'm a little
hungry," she answered. Since I first met Buffy, I seemed to have these
feelings pop up. I mean I like boys, but there is something about Buffy.
"Willow, are you feeling alright, you look a little flushed?" Buffy
asked. "I think with what happened tonight, I'm just now coming down," I
answered. 

  She took a hold of my hand as we continued to my house. "What did you
tell your mom about tonight?" I asked. "I came clean. I told her that I
was the slayer and needed to take care of a problem, but we would talk
in depth when I got home," she explained. "Did she freak out?" I asked.
"Yeah a little," she said. We arrived at my house and the lights were
out. "Is anyone home?" Buffy asked. "No, they're at some conference," I
answered.

  "I don't feel comfortable with you staying here by yourself. I think
you should stay at my house," Buffy said. "What about your mom?" I
asked. "I'll explain the situation, and I think she'll agree with me,"
she replied. "Okay, where would I sleep?" I questioned. "I would say
with me, but we can discuss it with mom," she answered. I went upstairs
to pack some clothes while Buffy called her mom. "Mom said it's okay.
She said you can stay until your parents get back and your bunking with
me," she said.

  I locked back up as we headed towards Buffy's house as she retook my
hand. I didn't know how I would act around Buffy's mom since I had only
recently met Buffy. We walked up the stairs to her house as Buffy opened
the door. "Buffy, you're home," Buffy's mom said coming to the foyer.
"Mom, Willow, Willow, Mom," Buffy said introducing us. "So you're the
famous Willow who's helping my girl catch up," she said. "It's nice to
meet you Mrs. Summers," I said smiling nervously. "Please call me
Joyce," she said. We all sat down on the couch as Buffy explained the
whole slayer story.

  "I'm sorry you didn't feel you could tell me about this, I love you,
there isn't anything that you can't tell me," Joyce said. I couldn't
believe that there were parents who actually talk to their kids.
"Willow, are you still with us?" Buffy asked. "Yeah, I was just
thinking," I answered. "Well you girls should get to bed," Joyce said as
Buffy took my hand and led me upstairs. She showed me Dawn's room and
would introduce her tomorrow morning. I'm glad Buffy didn't catch me
staring as we got changed for bed. We laid down and fell asleep.

  I woke up the next morning feeling held down. I pulled the covers up
and found Buffy had an arm and leg laying across my body. "Girls, time
to get up," Joyce said popping in. "Oh crap, sorry Willow, I'm not used
to having to share my bed," Buffy said letting me up. "Don't worry about
it, I kinda felt safe," I said smiling. "That's my new job then, keep
you safe," Buffy said giving me a hug. "Well thank you, but I think we
should get downstairs though," I said. "Wait, there is something I've
been wanting to do since last night," Buffy said kissing me.
