FF: Keep Me Safe 2/?

  "Where did that come from?" I asked. "Oh come on, I saw how you were
staring at me especially when I was changing last night," Buffy said
winking at me. "I thought it was just me, what are we going to do?" I
asked. "Buffy, Willow!" Joyce yelled upstairs.
  
  We tabled our conversation for later as we headed downstairs. I saw
this cute little girl sitting at the table who looked like Buffy except
for the hair. "Dawn, this is my friend, Willow," Buffy said introducing
us.

  "Hello Willow, it's nice to meet you," Dawn said. "How old are you,
Dawnie?" I asked. "I'm ten. I heard Buffy was clingy with you this
morning. She like that with me too when I have bad dreams and I sleep in
her bed," Dawn said as we both started laughing.

  "Hey,I'm right here. If you're going to pick on me at least wait
until I'm out of the room," Buffy said starting to pout. "Well sweetie,
if you weren't such a bed hog they wouldn't have to," Joyce said
starting to laugh too.

  We finished breakfast and piled into the car. Dawn and I sat in the
back seat talking, and Buffy would glance back every time we laughed.
Dawn gave me a hug when we dropped her off. "Buffy can you and Willow
keep an eye on Dawn after school. I have a late meeting," Joyce asked.
"Sure no problem, Mom," Buffy answered. We waved goodbye to Joyce as she
drove away.

  "Willow, where were you last night? I was trying to get a hold of you
all night," Xander asked. "Sorry Xander, I stayed over at Buffy's
house," I answered.

  "I didn't feel comfortable with her sleeping all alone in her house,"
Buffy said explaining. We stopped by the library first to check in with
Giles.

  "Morning Buffy, how did you sleep last night?" Giles asked. "Very
clingy," Willow chimed in. "Would you please stop telling people how I
sleep. I slept well Giles, by the way," Buffy said lightly smacking me.    

  "Wait, you two slept in the same bed?" Xander asked starting to get a
look. "Xander if you don't stop visualising I will hurt you," Buffy said
playfully threatening. Giles wanted an explanation, so Buffy gave him
the whole story.

  We all headed off to class, and I told Buffy I'd see her in the
library after school. I couldn't stop thinking about the kiss this
morning. "Willow, where are you at?" Xander asked. "Oh sorry, I  was
just thinking about something," I answered.

  Classes seemed to drag on which is no surprise considering I wanted
to talk to Buffy. Thankfully I got to see her in a couple classes and
then at lunch. The afternoon classes ended so I headed in the direction
of the library.

  I pushed through the double doors and my eyes met Buffy's and I
started to smile. I walked up into the stacks hoping she would follow.
"I can't believe how slow this day went," I said giving her a kiss.

  "What was that for?" Buffy asked. "I just figured it was my turn. So,
I take it from the kiss this morning you have more than best friend
feelings for me," I said smiling.

  "Oh yeah, I felt something the first time I saw you, but I didn't
want to act on it until I knew you felt the same way," she said kissing
me. "What the hell?" Xander yelled.

  "Xander!" Buffy and I both yelled. "What do you two think you are
doing?" He asked angrily. "Xander, calm down," I said. 

  "How long has this been going on?" he asked. "It just started. We
were talking on how to handle this," Buffy answered. "Whatever, I have
to be somewhere else," he said walking away.
