  "Xander!" I yelled running after my best friend. "Buffy, what is that
all about?" Giles asked. "Something Xander couldn't handle," Buffy said
without saying too much. I came back into the library, and Buffy and
Giles have serious looks on their faces. "Did you tell him?" I asked.
taking her hand. 

  "No, I didn't. I wanted to see if you wanted us to," Buffy said
smiling. "Tell me what exactly?" Giles asked. "Xander wigged out because
he saw Buffy and I kissing," I said tightening my grip. "I see, Buffy
can I talk to you privately?" Giles asked cleaning his glasses.

  "No Giles, anything you have to say to me, you can say to Willow,"
Buffy said standing her ground. "Fine, how long has this been going on?"
he questioned. "Last night, but we found out this morning that we share
the same feelings," I said.

  "Do your parents know?" Giles asked. "No, we were planning on telling
my mom after school, but Willow's parents are out of town which is why
she is staying with me," Buffy explained. "Okay then I'm fine with it,"
Giles said smiling. "Thank you Giles," Buffy said kissing my cheek.

  "Let's see if we can track down Xander before picking up Dawn," Buffy
said as we left the library. We didn't find him on school grounds, so we
headed for Dawnie's school and give Xander some space.

  Dawn came barrelling out of the school doors and jumped into Buffy's
arms. I think if Buffy wasn't the slayer Dawn might have knocked her
over. "How was school, Dawn?" Buffy asked. "It was okay, how about you?"
Dawn asked as I anticipated Buffy's answer. "Same, but there is
something I need to tell you and mom," Buffy said smiling at me.

  We all started our homework when we arrived at Buffy's house. I
actually got to help both Summers' with theirs. "Buffy, I'm starting to
get hungry, and Mom's not home yet," Dawn said. "She had a meeting, but
didn't think it would last this long. I don't know what to do?" Buffy
said kissing Dawn's head. "Let's see if there is something I can whip
up," I said heading towards the kitchen.

  I looked in the fridge and found bacon and eggs, and also found some
flour. Buffy and Dawn came into the kitchen to see what I was up to.
"Dawnie, do you like pancakes?" I asked smiling at the sweet little
girl. "Yes, I do," she replied. "Round or funny shapes?" I asked. "Funny
shapes," she answered. Buffy and Dawn had set the table, and we were so
into cooking that we didn't hear the front door open.

  "What's going on in here?" Joyce asked. "Willow's cooking us dinner,"
Dawn chimed in before I got a chance to answer. "Thank you sweetie,"
Joyce said as she kissed my forehead. I started to cry and ran out of
the kitchen. 

  "What's wrong mommy?" Dawn asked. "I don't know punkin," Joyce said
as Buffy chased after me. "Willow, what was that all about?" Buffy asked
putting my head on her shoulder. "Oh Buffy I'm sorry, I probably wigged
out your mom and Dawnie," I said calming a little. 

  "Don't worry about that, why did you run out like that?" Buffy asked
playing with my hair. "I know my parents love me, but they don't show
it. Not like your mom did in the kitchen," I explained starting to cry
again.

  "Hey sweetie, it's okay," Buffy said kissing me. "Is there something
you want to tell me?" Joyce asked surprising us. "Oh sorry mom, we were
going to tell you after dinner, but Willow's problem kinda popped up. I
comforted her, and we will tell you everything after dinner," Buffy said
hugging her mom as we headed back to the kitchen.
