Cool.  There's a bunch of stuff from back then that I'd like to get back 
copies of.  And it sounds like you do have all of Book 3 that there is.  It 
was never finished.  HDouglas had worked on the dang thing for so long, I 
think he just finally got tired of it.

I made a Eudora mailbox available awhile back, that include all 300+
chapters, of the three book serial, Immortal Pair, as well as all the
fiction that had been sent to the list from May 2001 to that date in
2004. The mailbox is still available at my website:

I'm scrolling through my mailbox now, and it seems that Book 3 starts
at chapter 19 and ends at chapter 59, but books 1 and 2 are in tack.
Also, this file is large, over 100MB uncompressed. It includes any
and all fiction I could identify from that time period, not just the
Immortal Pair story.  Every month or so, I go back through and remove
all extraneous conversation from the mailbox, so it's weeded down to
just stories. That's what this mailbox is, though its not current, I
haven't uploaded a new copy since 2004.

I can't recall my original instructions, and they were probably more
detailed than these, but basically Eudora stores its mailbox in a
fairly standard format. If your using Eudora, Mail, or any other
application that accepts mbx format (primarily a text base mail
storage system, you should just be able to place the uncompressed
file in your mail folder and it will be read.

If not, I recommend downloading a free version of Eudora and using
that to read and access the stories. Obviously, the format could be
converted, I just don't have time during the next week to assist in
that process.  So http://www.eudora.com  download and install Eudora
[Windows Users, please don't use the default folder location for data
files. Select the option to specify and select your My Documents
folder]. Don't configure it to check your email, unless you're
planning to switch to it (just hit the cancel configuration button,
or say you'll setup later, whichever is available).

You should be able to just place the uncompressed file into your mail
directory, then reopen Eudora. The new mailbox should be available.
I'm certain, I wrote up instructions on what to do if things didn't
go as plan, but I don't recall them, and I'm under deadline right
now. So if it doesn't work just send me an email, and I'll try to
troubleshoot when I have free time.
