That person... is Kimber. The ListMom of all ListMoms... of course, given the age of this group, and the life expectancy of the average Yahoo! group that isn't a Fundamentalist Christian, Bible-thumping collection of bigots, she'd probably be closer to a ListGrandmom by now.
And if that comment doesn't get her to reach over the DSL and slap me, I don't know what will. Oh, and everyone kicking in a little is one thing... as of right now, the cheapest seat is #4, and it's at $3,050 US. This List has 2,825 members (unknown how many are actively receiving this), and if each of us kicked in $5 or $10, we should be able to get one of the Original Fuffy... I mean, Wiffy 'Shippers a seat. Hey, I like the idea of Buffy being Willow's bitch as much as the next person, but I'm still a hardcore Chosen Two 'Shipper, and have been since 3 November, 1998 (original air date of Homecoming). HOWEVER... we all stand true against one thing: those evil bastards that shipped Buffy with either Angel, Riley, or *gag* Spike (have I mentioned my dislike of all things James Marsters?), or Willow with Oz or Kennedy (I liked Tara, deal with it). We need someone there who understood the forbidden love that Joss wrote into the series... the longing glances, the suggestive phrases, the foreplay in the Magic Box...
Oh, c'mon, like that whole fight wasn't a preamble to sex until Giles arrived. Anyway, if you're willing to contribute to a collective Fan Appreciation action (yes, fellow lurkers, that means YOU), sound out. Also, if anyone sees or hears from Kimber, tell her I'm almost done fixing her walker. And I fear no wet noodle tank.
