Episode Nightmares

I have been rewatching the series to try to break through my blocks and I
discovered something in Nightmares.  Buffy¹s nightmare is being buried
alive, not becoming a vampire.  It¹s Giles¹ nightmare that he failed her and
she dies, then becomes a vampire.  When I first saw the scene I felt the
implication was that it was Buffy¹s nightmare to become a vampire since it
happened to her, especially with some of the dialogue later in the episode,
but they were very clearly playing on Giles¹ fear at the time of her
raising.

I also loved the fact that Buffy was frightened of being buried alive and
then season six starts with her in her coffin.
