Chapter 1 was excellent introduction to what was happening with Willow & Giles in London. Also showed a more mature Buffy. Glad she came to get Willow. Quentin is gone - Yea. Hope new Head Watcher is better. Chapter 2 did a good job of showing how considerate Buffy was of Willow. Can understand the she doesn't feel ready to tell her everything all at once. Nice job of telling us a little more about her meeting with Council. Chapter 3 shows a little of the Buffy we all know [her difficulty finding the "dog" car] and the Willow we all know [although tired and cold she is able to figure out the note locating the "Rover" for Buffy]. A yellow Rover - how discreet. I guess Buffy has learned to drive better. Like how careful Buffy is with Willow - but liked that she stayed with her the first night at the hotel. Chapter 4 continues the story very well, with Buffy doing recon, Willow doing some a little magic and both investigating the hotel. I don't "Keeper Chronicles" so I was a bit confused with that section. Looking forward to what's behind the "door" and Buffy's & Willow's continued relationship. It seems to have all the aspects to be great, and I really want you to update this one along with your other ones. Ahn 2007-08-10 id # 6106 Glad to see an update! Can't wait for more! Howard R 2007-08-16 id # 6166 One question that springs immediately to mind is when does this take place, TV viewing wise. If it lines up with this Buffy and Willow's timeline, then the "Keeper" characters have seen season six but not the tragically pro-Spuffy seven. The season one and two box sets were available at the time, so they could show Buffy and Willow some episodes. (Be funny to see Buffy notice Willow glancing at her cleavage in WttH or the long cleavage stare from "Dead Man's Party.") I can really see Willow wanting to see runaway-Buffy's adventure from "Anne." There were plenty of sites with rumors and spoilers for season seven that Willow could turn her research skills towards (much more readable than musty old prophesy books, and just as misleading given the divergance between this AU and the canon Buffy-verse.) If the girls are ahead of "Buffy" in the "Keeper" universe, Claire and Diana might drive Buffy and Willow nuts with questions about what's going to happen on their favorite show. If they're behind, Buffy and Willow might just get suicidally depressed over season seven. Hopefully Willow would spot that her TV counterpart isn't Buffy's watcher before they got to feeling too bad. If Willow got curious, she could look at some fanfiction sites (you already establised Claire and Diana as being into 'shipper fanfic, so it might come up in conversation.) If she put in "fanfiction" along with her and Buffy's names into Google, she'd end up right here! Wouldn't that be a kick in the ass! A Slayer, A Hacker and Pink Rabbit are other sites she would find (though Pink Rabbit might give Willow more reasons to be jealous of Faith.
