I have to admit - when I started it, I had no plans for a long, complex fic. (lol) Now I'm outlining Chapter 27. There have been a few of you with questions or concerns about the characters and how I've set things up. All I can say is...I was always bothered by Joss' attitude toward Faith. The Scoobies were very much a forgive and forget group. Angel/Angelus and the death of Jenny and his other victims in S2; Willow and the death of Warren and her attempt to end the world. I wanted to know: why not Faith? It was clear in S7 (really even in 'Sanctuary') that Faith felt remorse, was willing to accept responsibility. This fic is my attempt to show how things might have been different; although, it isn't the primary focus of the story - that's Buffy and her inability to embrace her Slayer and the more Primal side of her Calling.
