Willow typed, absent-mindedly wiping her brow.

"Will... do you want me to open the window?" Buffy asked, having watched her friend repeat the same gesture seven times in the last five minutes.

"Window? Yes... please," she answered, licking her parched lips.

Oh... this is so not good...

Willow tilted her head to one side when she heard Buffy opening the window.

Wow! I can hear her heartbeat...

Um... there was an accident...

A really small one.

And now.

All I'm thinking about is the overwhelming urge to kiss...

"Will... did you say something?" Buffy asked, thinking she had heard... something coming from Willow's direction.

"No... not... not a sound," she replied, which was not entirely true.

She moaned, and that really wasn't saying anything, or so she thought.

'I've got to leave the room,' she thought to herself.

If only I hadn't thought of Buffy while I was completing the spell...

I didn't mean to think of her...

She sort of drifted in...

Buffy...

Bad Willow...

Stop having those...

Naughty thoughts...

Don't think about slowly turning around, getting up from the chair and walking over to her.

'Oh... no.'

Willow shook her head.

Don't think about taking the book out of her hands...

'No...'

Letting your right hand find its way to the back of her neck, and bringing her face inches away from yours...

"No," she whispered, as she continued to type. Her eyes staring at Buffy's reflections on the monitor, not paying attention that she had begun to write in the second-person.

Looking into her eyes...

Seeing the confusion...

At first.

Then gently...

Ever so gently kissing her.

Feeling her warm lips on yours.

Hearing her say:

"Why?"

"Because I love you," you answer.

Kissing her again...

"Will... Will.. WILLOW!"

"Huh!? What?" she replied, her breathing labored.

"Are you okay? You seem a little out of it."

"Fine... I... I.. think I'll take a walk."

"Do you want me to go with you?"

"No! Um... no, tha's okay. I'll be back promise," she said, closing the file, getting to her feet and finding that her legs would not support her for a few seconds.

"If you're sure?"

"Oh... yeah, positive. I might stop off at the library."

"Call me, you know, before you decide to come back. I'll meet you there," Buffy said.

"Sure... I've... I've got to go, bye," Willow replied, grabbing her books and heading out the door. 'Only four hours... four hours,' she thought.

That's when the spell would be broken, and everything would return to normal.

'Won't it?' she thought as she left Stevenson's Hall and headed towards the library.
