First. Let me say AAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!

*big heapin sigh* Okay, now I feel better. No, I'm not leaving!

Wow, I go to sleep for a few hours and miss everything. No wonder I'm
so far out of the loop. :)

Kimber, I'd like to weigh in here with the following:

1) I *love* the "Ties that Bind" story. It does a great job of
showing off your usual skill with the characters. I know I've been
bad about feedback lately (a lot going on in real life, writing, and
feedback, so one kinda had to go; next time it will be real life), so
my sincerest apologies to you and every other author I've neglected.
Rest assured your story is tremendous, and I look forward to every
installment.

2) Constructive criticism: IMHO, constructive criticism is telling
someone about a misspelling, a character which hasn't been fully
fleshed out, or maybe a dialogue which sounds wrong. It is *not*
telling the author that they shouldn't have Willow & Tara together.
That is a major plot decision that is made by the author. If someone
doesn't like that decision, don't read that part of the story, and
don't complain if you do.
3) Yanking the fic. Kimber, I understand that yanking the fic from
these lists and altering the ending is completely your decision, and
I'm positive that you didn't make it lightly. I will, however, go on
record for begging you (Yes, begging) to reconsider. I (and I'm sure
many here) would LOVE to read your B/W ending. Then again, I can
completely understand if you're doing it to gore the ox of a certain
list reg who wanted B/W stuff from the beginning. :)

4) List fics and OT fics. Kimber's absolutely right, this list has
been very tolerant of OT fics in the past (like Pat's), and I applaud
it for doing so. Not to say that this list should be a general 'ship
list like SapphicSlayer, but there's no reason we shouldn't indulge
the authors who have given us such great B/W fics in the past (and
hopefully in the future). There's so much argument going on in the
WillTara list right now about what is OT and what isn't that it really
ruins the community. One of the reasons I stayed here was because of
the great community to be found, and I know many people feel the same
way. Let's not ruin it now because of intolerance.

Ok, that's all IMHO of course.
