I read this story last night. The various peoples reactions
(most especially Buffys) are spot on. In some ways, I think,
Spike is the best person to help Buffy. He has been in that
situation himself so has an idea of what Buffy is feeling but he
isn't going over board on the sympathy and so preventing Buffy
from dealing and advancing.

I have known a number of people, with pretty severe difficulties,
who have been treated like 'The Helpless Invalid' by family and
so have fallen into the role and become totally dependant.
However when they have been forced into a situation where they
have had to do things for themselves they have discovered that
they *can* do things for themselves.

I hope Chelle completes this fic.
