I see your point in this, and since Eudora Pro is, except for a small approx 100*100 banner in the
lower left corner, free, I think it shouldn't be a problem to update. But that is just a suggestion,
and it's up to you if you want to stay with your version, or the one they offer now.

I think that is the small difference between us. Me, as somebody who never really gets messages in
plain text, except for those over eGroups lists where they only allow plain text, and even there the
extra html gets removed, and You, as one who has for a long time only known the gibberish known as
html.
You have to face all that extra crap on a daily basis, whereas I only see it when the really
annoying things are thrown into my face.

Still, I think that it's not right to force those who don't want to see this to have to look at
those banners all the time. If those who decide to look at them want to, it's up to them. If those
who can't prevent it, like you, to always see useless stuff, are faced with just very little extra
useless stuff, then it's no biggie of course, but it annoys me.

But maybe I'm just overreacting about this.
So, from now on in 24 hours, I say that this thread has to be quit. If I see any further posts about
this on the lists, I'll refrain from reading them and they'll fly directly into the recycle bin :-)
