The archive on eGroups is going to stay active for as long as needed. Kim is going to close down the
memberships and set the message archive to public. That way, anyone who wants to can look something
up in them. The archive will furthemore be set to allow public viewing, since we want to move as
much as possible, and with that, we want to cut down all and any posts on eGroups. For that, the
memberships are going to be canceled once the move is complete (this is still in discussion).
We're trying to get all the digests so far from eGroups, so that we can store them on the eSribe
archive. But we'd need someone who's been on the list since day one, and who hasn't deleted all the
digests yet.
Or at least, that's pretty much how I understood it. For further details, you'd have to ask Kim or
Rod. All I know for sure is that the messages I got over the lists can't be stored because of some
strange background compressing of the mails done by OE.

But for the time being, the current archive on eGroups WILL stay open. I hope that makes it a little
clearer. Any other questions, just ask. I'm here, Kim's here, and maybe even Rod will answer the one
or other question now that he's back :-)
