no one's read the prequel yet (it's not done). Ash and her sister, at
least, were orphaned at birth. At least that's what they've been told. As
I've said earlier, this is an alternate universe and since consistency
hasn't exactly been a top priority for the Highlander movies, I'm taking
what most works for what i can see as happened.
