An AU fic challenge WTTH CC

This is AU and came to me whilst reading Carol A Clarke's "Exquisitly
Bored".

Timing : S1 Welcome to the Hellmouth
Senario : Rewrite WTTH/TH (or at least a representative portion there
of, if you've seen the Unaired Pilot feel free to substitute that)
with the following changes:

* Buffy isn't the slayer. She has lived in Sunnydale for a couple of
months after her mother moved there following the divorce.

* In the early part of the fic Cordelia Chase is called as the slayer.

* Giles is Cordelias first watcher. He had been posted to Sunnydale
to monitor the Hellmouth, when the last slayer was killed (causing
Cordy to be called) Giles got a late night phone call from the council
saying that there were signs that the new slayer was in Sunnydale.

* Giles is aware who Angel is and his circumstances but not in any
great detail.

* At least one of Willow, Xander or Buffy kinda knows Angel (eg as
"That broody good looking guy who sometimes hangs around the Bronze")
but doesn't know his situation.

All else is up to your imagination.

Must include:

* Someones clothes being dissed.
* An event being described from two different perspectives (eg
different peoples journal entries, two different people describing the
same event they both saw, someone giving the official description of a
historical event then Angel points out that he was there and
describing how it actually happened, &c).
* Someone coming out as gay to their parent(s).
* Someone reading an Anne Rice book.
* A quotation from a popular 80s or early 90's film.
