He's been in 2 eps ("Nightmares" and "When She Was Bad") that I recall
and was mentioned in "Helpless" (he was supposed to take Buffy to the
Ice show but cancelled cos his quarterly projections were unraveling)
and later in S3 (sorry, can't remember the ep name, I do know that it
was towards the end tho' (could have been Choices or GD1) when Joyce
mentions that buffy could attend Northwestern University if her father
chips in).

Given recent events it's possible that he might be making a
re-appearence.
