I was just watching Tabula Rasa, Smashed and Wrecked and something
occurred to me. We have so been so focused on Willow going bad we forgot
about Buffy. Am I the only one seeing shades of Faith in Buffy's recent
behavior. I mean granted Buffy didn't handle coming back from the dead
well the first time but this is something else entirely. We have her
almost walking out on the gang in Tabula Rasa. We discover she isn't
exactly human any more  in Smashed. And the confrontation between her
and Willow in the e alley in Wrecked. Buffy looked like she was seconds
away from slaying Willow even after she broke down and admitted she was
wrong and begged for help.

Well I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Buffy was a little less than the warrior of the light that she has been the last five years.  We have yet to see why the season premiere was entitled 'Bargaining'.  I think that name is a little more than unsettling when you think about it.  What exactly was bargained to bring Buffy back?  Does it have to do with Buffy or Willow? Or even both of them?  We already know Buffy's walking on a bit of a wildside right now, I mean she's having sex with a vampire, a soulless one no less this time.  That doesn't exactly make her the poster child for mental health.

As for the look in 'Wrecked', even though I was glad to finally have a Buffy/Willow moment, it certainly wasn't two sided.  Will was clinging to Buffy and Buffy looked like she could barely stand to touch her :(  Now later on in the bedroom she was a bit more sympathetic, but still, that whole scene in the alley bugged me a bit :(
