Well, I've never understood how people can both want Buffy to experience
the pure love and friendship of B/W and still want her to rut with the
evil undead. Spike and Willow, IMO, stand for very different,
incompatible things.

There are some folks who like the idea of Willow becoming the dark evil
Witch, and thus like some B/W with their B/S, but that's not the redhead
I love, so I'll pass.

So the ep is good news for you, because clearly B/S will win in the end.
All he has to do is become nice, lovable William.

Which I suppose would be more like a B/W relationship (some of the B/S
crowd have even stolen our initials to use for Buffy/William), but since
it would just make all this Spuffy stuff a-okay, I never want to see SMG
and JM kiss again, no matter how his character may change.
