OT: email attachments disabled for six hours

Hey all,

Following advice about the Kiez virus attacking the attachment function
of other lists, I've decided to disable email attachments until 1:00 AM
PDT this evening. Presumably this will be enough time for the virus
attack to have finished.

For the sake of caution, after the attachment function is restored, I
would advise members not to open any file that comes attached to a blank
or bland email from these lists.

If you wish to post a picture, you can still upload it to the files
section and post a link.

If you wish to post a fic in HTML, you can wait or post it in plain-text
format instead. Of course, if we had more fics being posted, that'd be
a bigger problem, right? (grumble, nudge, nag) <g>
